Kayla has an immense love for horses and furthering them for an amazing future. I have been on a few of some horses she’s trained and have nothing but good things to say about how they rode..! Highly recommend her working with your horses.

I started lessons not knowing how to ride a cutting horse one bit. Kayla was very patient and kind in every lesson and didn’t just teach me how to get the job done but also why you need to do things a certain way to get what you’re really looking for. She is very humble in every lesson and always helped me gain confidence on every ride. I walked away from every lesson always learning something new. Even things I could take back and use on my own barrel horse. Her horses are also so well minded and trust worthy enough that even if they aren’t 100% finished, they’re so safe you can truly focus on what you’re doing to learn how to help them. I really enjoy learning and riding with her as a trainer. I can’t wait to take more lessons from her and I highly recommend her if you have interest in this discipline or if you need a horse trained!

Reba is a jewel. Kayla has her responding well to leg pressure and soft in the mouth. Good foundation of groundwork using Clinton Anderson training methods, as we do. She is ready to continue on to be shown in cattle and ranch work. A great fit and asset to our farm at Legiondaire Acres. With her pedigree, we are excited to also see her future as a Broodmare for our Sweet Boons Merada, stallion currently being shown by Karin Rice.

We purchased Poco from Kayla in 2016. We had been looking for a quiet, sane minded horse that would allow my daughters to get used to being around a horse. Poco has been wonderful! Kayla was honest about Poco’s training and personality. I would highly recommend Kayla if you are looking for a horse!

We bought Pawnee McCoy (Ty) from Kayla a year ago...I can't say enough what a phenomenal job Kayla did with putting the fundamentals on him! With very little effort he is running solid 2D barrels. We have had some amazing compliments down at the Josey Ranch in Texas how he has been started correctly. 

I bought a horse from Kayla almost 3 years ago. She is honest and does a phenomenal job with the horses she trains. She loves her work and it shows....I would definitely recommend her.

Kayla is an amazing trainer! Cared for my horse as if he was her own while he was there. I cannot say enough good things about her training program and her personal horses as well. She's extremely knowledgeable and patient with all the horses and it truly been amazing watching her create such good working horses every year.

The training quality from both horses I have gotten (Cally & Lucy) from KB is beyond awesome. Level headed and calm. The groundwork and time in the saddle she has them really riding good not a straight board.

She is an amazing trainer who will not only take great care of your horse but will teach them the skills to be a well mannered horse on the ground and in the saddle.
Kayla had my horse for three months. She took excellent care of him. And went above and beyond for me. She did an amazing job with him. When I got him back he was much more behaved and was confident in what was asked of him. If your looking for a trainer who will take good care of you and your horse I’d highly recommend her.

We purchased a 4 year old registered AQHA gelding from KB Quarter Horses that had been in training with Kayla for 8 months. She started him and his training is very solid. She had shown him and he even placed in his classes. We drove from southern Kentucky to northern Michigan, it was a long drive to see and buy a horse but well worth it. We spent about a week on the phone and online with Kayla and asked many questions. She sent many videos so our trainer could see him in many environments and training stages.
When we arrived, Kayla walked us out to his paddock so we could see him being caught, haltered, saddled and ridden. We were there for awhile and took videos and sent them to our trainer for review.
Our trainer was impressed! Kayla was always patient and encouraged us to be fully satisfied with our purchase.
After all the paperwork was completed and he was loaded, she gave us a KB hat and hoodie which was a sweet gift.
We highly recommend Kayla and her training and honesty and knowledge. We would buy another horse from her. Thank you for a superb gelding!

My husband and I recently purchased a mare from Kayla. The whole experience was very good! Communication was 10/10, super quick to respond to messages and clear out any doubt we had. When we came to see the mare she made sure we had all the information and saw everything we needed. Upon pick up, she gifted us a hat and a stall sign for our new horse which was very sweet and greatly appreciated!
We would definitely buy a horse from Kayla again!
