Kayla has been training and selling horses for over 9 years. She has enjoyed competing in multiple western events but found herself drawn to cow horses the most. Her fierce desire to match incredible horses with buyers led to great success. Kayla is known for her honesty, integrity and quality stock of western performance horses that range from trail riding to competitive show athletes.
THE EARLY YEARS-
Growing up in Lake Orion, Michigan, Kayla was an avid horse-lover with parents who supported her horse obsession from a young age. Her parents bought her first horse at the age of 6 and Kayla instantly fell in love with her favorite thing in the world at that time: a chestnut gelding. At 16, she began competing in sorting and team penning competitions. There, her love for cow horses blossomed.
COLLEGE DAYS-
Kayla enrolled at Oakland Community College after graduating High School, buying and selling horses to fund her education and build her future. Kayla graduated with an Associate Degree in Business Administration and worked as a receptionist in a fast-paced chiropractic office. She didn't truly enjoy sitting behind a desk for 8 hours a day so decided to pursue the horse business full-time.
KB QUARTER HORSES LLC-
She founded KB Quarter Horses LLC in August 2021, formally starting her business with the goal of connecting great trained horses with eager buyers. Two years later, she actively gives lessons, trains and buys and sells western performance horses.
